1. How much is it going to cost to paint my home?

The average size bedroom(12×12, no closet) would cost approximately $190 to repair all the walls and apply 2 coats of paint. Ceilings( 1 coat usually) -$65, Baseboards( 1 coat usually)- $40. All these prices include the cost of paint.

2. Are Estimates Free?

Absolutely, we are more then happy to give you an in home estimate in writing. We usually can see your home or business that day or within the next business day, and give you an on the spot estimate.

4. Can You Apply Latex over Oil Paint?

The Key to painting latex paint over oil paint is to sand the surface very well, that means every little nook and cranny. Not only that, you need to make sure that the surface is not greasy or oily. To guarantee adhesion it may be best to apply a primer first , and then 2 top coats of 100% acrylic latex finish. If you have any questions about this process please do not hesitate to call.

5. Why do painters wear white?

Nobody really know for sure , but it is speculated that we wear white because it’s a sign of cleanliness , the less paint we have on clothes might signify how good we are at our trade. Wearing “whites” also distinguishes us from other trades, as painters we are proud of our craft, and we definetly like to stand out in the mix of so many other trades.

6. What is a journeyman Painter?

A journeyman Painter is one who has actually taken the time to not only learn his trade on the job site, but in the classroom to. My 4 year course consisted of 10 month on the job with 2 month in the classroom per year. The whole time I was being mentored by some of the best painters in the trade.
